Scope of this Standard
Specifies the maximum permissible limits of the key pollutants of the exhaust emissions from motor vehicles. Specifies also the methods of measurements and test equipment to be used in determining the levels of the key pollutants of the exhaust emissions from motor vehicles to assess compliance with the requirements of this Standard. It is applicable to the exhaust emissions from all motor vehicles sold or offered for sale in Trinidad and Tobago, both-on-the-road and off-the-road, fuelled by gasoline, diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG) and mixtures of other types of fuels.
